Louis Pasteur was a renowned French chemist and pharmacist. He was born on 27 December 1822, in Dole, France. He is best known for inventing the process that bears his name, pasteurization, which is a process to kill microbes and prevent spoilage in beer, milk, and other goods. He is famous for his discoveries of the principles of vaccination, microbial fermentation, and pasteurization. He is regarded as the founder of modern bacteriology and has been honored as the “Father of bacteriology” and the “Father of Microbiology” (together with Robert Koch and Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek). His scientific career spanned the fields of Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

Here are some of Louis Pasteur’s famous quotes about science:

#1

“Little science takes you away from God but more of it takes you to Him.”

#2

“The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator. Science brings men nearer to God.”

#3

“Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world.”

#4

“Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world. Science is the highest personification of the nation because that nation will remain the first which carries the furthest the works of thought and intelligence.”

#5

“To know how to wonder and question is the first step of the mind toward discovery.”

#6

“It is not the germs we need worry about. It is our inner terrain.”

#7

“A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.”

#8

“Posterity will one day laugh at the sublime foolishness of the modern materialistic philosophy. The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator. I pray while I am engaged at my work in the laboratory.”

#9

“Do not put forward anything that you cannot prove by experimentation.”

#10

“You bring me the deepest joy that can be felt by a man whose invincible belief is that Science and Peace will triumph over Ignorance and War, that nations will unite, not to destroy, but to build, and that the future will belong to those who will have done most for suffering humanity.”

#11

“Without theory, practice is but routine born of habit. Theory alone can bring forth and develop the spirit of inventions.”

#12

“The controls of life are structured as forms and nuclear arrangements, in a relation with the motions of the universe.”

#13

“When you believe you have found an important scientific fact, and are feverishly curious to publish it, constrain yourself for days, weeks, years sometimes, fight yourself, try and ruin your own experiments, and only proclaim your discovery after having exhausted all contrary hypotheses. But when, after so many efforts you have at last arrived at a certainty, your joy is one of the greatest which can be felt by a human soul.”

#15

“Imagination should give wings to our thoughts but we always need decisive experimental proof, and when the moment comes to draw conclusions and to interpret the gathered observations, imagination must be checked and documented by the factual results of the experiment.”

#16

“After death, life reappears in a different form and with different laws. It is inscribed in the laws of the permanence of life on the surface of the earth and everything that has been a plant and an animal will be destroyed and transformed into a gaseous, volatile, and mineral substance.”

#17

“There is no such thing as a special category of science called applied science; there is science and its applications, which are related to one another as the fruit is related to the tree that has borne it.”

Green biotechnology

17 Most Important Applications Of Green biotechnology Agrobiotechnology  Green biotechnology related to plants of improving both the quality and quantity of plants. The main goal of green biotechnology is the production of an improved variety of plants, with the help of biotechnology-based techniques that should be environmentally friendly solutions.  The main aim of green biotechnology is to tackle food security issues and reduce the environmental footprint of the industry. Green biotechnology can improve the global food situation.  17 Most Important Applications Of Green Biotechnology :  1. Micropropagation  One of the most important applications of green biotechnology is the micropropagation of plant species. this technique has attained the status of a large plant-based industry. Micropropagation is the true type of propagation of selected genotypes using small pieces of tissues which can stay as an important technique for rapid production of many commercially important plants lik

Milestones in the history of Plant Tissue Culture  20 Scientists name and their contribution to Plant Tissue culture         Gottlieb Haberlandt - Father of Plant Tissue Culture  Plant Tissue Culture is an in vitro aseptic conditions of plant cells, tissues, or organs maintained growth under sterile conditions on a nutrient culture medium of known composition. It is a collection of various techniques that helps for the development of the plants under the artificial environment that produces the required plant quickly. In short, Plant tissue culture is the growth of organs, tissues, or cells in an artificial medium. Applications part of Plant Tissue Culture are : It is the most efficient technology for crop improvement. Production of the plant by Plant Tissue culture technology has the capability to resistance to various diseases.  The plants become tolerable to stress. The most important application of plant tissue culture is the micropropagation of plant species. It is an important

Red Biotechnology

20 Major Applications Of Red Biotechnology Red Biotechnology is a branch of modern biotechnology T he term Biotechnology was introduced by a Hungarian engineer, Karl Ereky in 1917. Ereky defined biotechnology as “ all lines of work by which products are produced from raw materials with the aid of living things”. Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary application. Biotechnological research has a wide range of applications that are shown in medical and health science, agriculture science, and environmental science. Bio-Pharmaceutical is known as Red- Biotechnology. This branch of biotechnology is related to health care. The main utilization of this branch is shown in the field of medicine. Red biotechnology helps to improve the quality of life. Red-Biotechnology has a wide range of applications. Many applications are shown in medical and health science, genetic engineering, gene therapy, and many more fields related to the medical line. 20 Major Applications of Red Biotechnology are: 1.
